MCW 5 Questions: With MCW Elite Champion Patrick Hayes
February 4, 2012
Q1: Since making your debut in MCW you have quickly risen to the top; winning the MCW Elite Championship in your very first attempt. What are your thoughts on the competition in MCW compared to other places you have wrestled?
Hayes: I have wrestled all over the country. From New York City to Austin, Texas, and I came to MCW because I strive to be the very best. And here, each and every night I compete, I know I am wrestling the best any company has to offer.
Q2: Who do you feel, if anyone, is your biggest threat to possibly dethrone you as the MCW Elite Champion?
Hayes: Well, the only person who can beat me is myself. But, if you're forcing me to name one person... well, I would have to say Christian Vaughn. But even that is fantasy (laugh).
Q3: If you are successful in defending your MCW Elite Championship in the upcoming Triple Threat Ladder Match on February 18th at MCW's Winter Warfare, at the South Akron Knights of Columbus, what would you say is in store for Patrick Hayes and his MCW career?
Hayes: To be the first person to ever hold the MCW Elite and MCW Heavyweight Championships simultaneously!
Q4: You seem to have taken a liking to Justin Mane's valet, Sarah Danielle. Do you see something between the two of you in the future?
Hayes: At some point Sarah will get her head straight. And, rather than hanging out with a loser who calls himself the "Mane Event" she will be with the real main event. As in, the MCW Elite Champion, Patrick Hayes. And Justin Mane... well, he will just be left Hazed and Confused.
Q5: What can the fans expect from Patrick Hayes on Saturday night, February 18th, when you compete in the main event Triple Threat Ladder Match for your MCW Elite Championship?
Hayes: Whether the fans love me or hate me, when the night is over they will give me the respect that I have earned and that I deserve. Because Saturday February 18th will be a Ladder Match of epic proportions. Not only for MCW, but in all of professional wrestling. And, after mesmerizing the fans with the greatest match they have ever watched live or on pay-per-view, Patrick Hayes will leave the South Akron Knights of Columbus STILL the MCW Elite Champion!
