Shasta opened the show, announcing that MCW plans to begin airing a 30-minute
Internet Show and eventually a television program. He also announced that he will require surgery on his ankle and that the MCW fans may have seen him wrestle his last match. Murder Inc. interrupted him and proceeded to jump him, targetting his ankle. As Hercum was preparing to smash Shasta's ankle, Christian Vaughn ran out and took the chair from him. Vaughn hugged Minka and proclaimed to Shasta that he "started this years ago" and that "after months of careful planning" he was to finally "finish it." However, instead of attacking Shasta, Vaughn turned to Big Hurt and laid him out with the chair. Vaughn ducked an attack from Martel, which inadvertantly knocked Hercum out of the ring before Vaughn laid Martel out with the Lariat. Minka barely escaped Vaughn's wrath before announcing that her would be facing Bill Martel
later in the evening. Afterward, Vaughn attempted to shake Shasta's hand, but
Shasta would have none of it.
